One of the first jewellery finished since my return to Australia is group of four rings. These rings are result of casting of different range of jewellery. They are bit of an accident. How did that happen? When I was vacuum casting my other work I have added extra silver as I wasn’t sure what specific gravity of the model material was. As a result, the leftover silver was rejected into water casting chamber and created these beautiful organic and unique forms. I then cleaned them up, designed and made a shank and rings were born. Makes me think of all the beautiful accidents and coincidences we experience in our lives.
