This week I have started to look up for potential suppliers of plywood that I could use for production of my objects (so far it is indicating to fruit bowls). I have also talked to a few wood workers about plywood steaming, vacuuming, care etc. In terms of experimentation I have been looking at interlocking of individual curved discs and forming bowls.

Did you know that tenmoregirls is regularly inviting community to collaborate or play with us in one way or the other?
Well, this year tenmoregirls organized quick jewellery making workshop for kids in Westmead children’s hospital. We thought that kids being there permanent or temporary residents may enjoy something different. Therefore, Danielle, Bernadette and I loaded car full of fun stuff and set up our little jewellery making table in play room.
This is how it went….. I think not only kids had fun!

Wow, so now I am featuring in a book!
It was an idea of my friend Prab to document process of making and exhibition preparations before the opening night. He has taken the time to visit each of the ten girls (members of tenmoregirls artist collective) and document through photography their making process in their own studio. The result of this project is this beautiful photo documentary book full of amazing photographs capturing the real scene behind pieces of jewellery and objects exhibited in Glory Box, an annual exhibition by tenmoregirls.

When my friend Prab approach me that he would like to make a documentary about tenmoregirls , their design process and creations I was thrilled!
Prab dedicated to each girl one day to get to know her, her concept and photograph her at her studio while working prior to the opening of Glory Box. Interesting concept, I thought.
It was very exciting experience to be photographed while working. I nearly forgot what I was working on as I kept talking to Prab about totally unrelated topics which made me to relax completely.
